Creative Director, Co-founder & Partner
"Technology and design are continuously evolving so you always have to pay close attention to what's going on – there's no room for complacency and that's what I love about this business."
Javier started his career over 20 years ago as a freelance illustrator turned graphic designer. Eventually, his love for tech led him back to school in order to pursue a career as a network engineer, so he packed his bags and moved from Miami to Atlanta to start that journey. That idea was short lived when he started building training websites for clients and decided he enjoyed designing and building digital awesomeness, which was more fun (and rewarding) than configuring routers... It's that whole "right brain vs. left brain" thing.
What's your secret super power?
“I can crush any high pitched Prince song in Karaoke"
Since then, Javier has worked with many clients and agencies to solve problems with digital campaigns and products which include everything from websites and mobile applications to digital experiences in physical spaces.
And when he's not obsessing over technology and design, he spends his time involved with several non-profit organizations, such as Power My Learning and The Atlanta Community Food Bank where he's served on several Advisory Boards for over 7 years.
"Monday is my favorite day of the week. I know that sounds kinda crazy, but I really do look forward to coming into the office and creating cool things with my compadres." #mondaysareawesome
Three things about Javier:
What is your useless talent?
"I can do the kick-worm about 2 feet off the ground and have the video to prove it."
Any weird obsessions?
"I'm a music junkie, so I constantly shop for audio equipment even when I don't need anything. I currently own 4 pair of headphones and 5 bluetooth speakers (1 is specifically for travel) + I'm that guy that still buys albums, digital & vinyl. Plus I'm super OCD with cleanliness and it drives the team crazy."
What is your least favorite song/artist ever?
"We built this city on Rock & Roll, by Starship. Every time I hear it I want to jump out of the moving car, a high window or an airplane."
